tidbits for the last day of May.

The week that has been. A B***** long one. LOL I will work my way through the news.

Melissa won her soccer match today7:0 but they lost last weekend 0:5. She had practiced on Thursday and they must have been a bit hard cos she can home sore and ended up with yesterday home from school.

Dave is still not working we got another letter this week asking for another specialist appointment however we going to have a hearing on the 3rd June so that will be interesting. Lets see what will happen there.

We saw my parents today mum is looking good, She had her second course last Tuesday and so far with everything its going good they have to put in a pick(?) into her veins as a way to get blood and do the chemo.

Getting report cards home from the girls they look ok at the moment i wish Cecilia could be doing a bit better but i think she will find her way when she starts high school next year.

Dale well he's been the typical teenager... :)

Me well been toooooooooooo busy earning the money.

We had to take two pets to the vets the other day. Ginn the cat and Rosie the Lab Ginn was easy he had been in a cat fight and i think he came off second best. hehehehe With Rosie we are thinking that she is starting to have fits. they are small ones at the moment all we see is her recovering. We are having to date the days so see how frequent they are. then see what to do.

Oh yes before i go any further there are several international parcels heading out of Australia and landing in two different places in the world. They should be there around Friday...... If i remember i will need to email you to let you know they are coming as i havent been able to talk to any of my friends live cos i am not around enough to talk to them to let them know they have a parceling coming......... argh bugga it they read this so i hope they know who i am talking about... :) Well i am off to do hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm sleep hehehehehe some x stitching who knows...

End of week tidbits....

Ok this week was well lets see via the post.

1st thing to mention is my mum i saw my parents yesterday and today. and oh boy my mum now has no hair what so ever and dad informed me about what exactly happened last weekend with my mum and it now makes me even more weary about this next dose. Apart from her kidneys shutting down she also went into cardiac arrest. Apparently flat lined it. thank someone that she got though it. How my dad taking it all i know he is now older than 60yrs.

2nd thing this week is i dont know if I talked about Dave's issue about workcover they have now decided to do a review minus the doctors report again they are the ones who set the specialist appointment and it wont be in time for the review there is a month difference......... eyes rolling here. I think the right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing.... that is govn departments for u.

3rd issue.. Apparently it was a nail biter with Melissa soccer(football for those UK people) yes they won 5:4 it came down to the last 60 seconds. they were wet through due to a very heavy rain downpour at the beginning of the match....

4th thing this week is Cecilia had her party and a total of 7 screaming girls arghhhhhhhhhhh
by the end everyone enjoyed themselves and all left high on sugar. hehehehehehe

5th and the most important news of the week my SIL has announced the date of when she is getting married yep its finally happening it wont be until next September but its been the best news yet.

last but not least drum roll please..............
i got out my cross stitching and yes i can see the end its getting closer. its a UFO piece i have been working on the Australian Map... can i ask a question with the papilon SAL now as that is on part 5 and i am working on part 2 is that now called a UFO hehehehehehe

so overall i think the week hasnt been to bad. :)

a hard weekend

This weekend has been a very hard weekend for me. With me my mum this got a lot worse before she seems to hopefully be on the mend. I found out that over night thursday her kidneys were shutting down with the quick action of the nurses and doctors they got her over it. They found out what has caused toxic shock syndrome it was the double dose of the red chemo.. at the moment the 2 doctors are arguing over the next double dose that she has to have Should she or shouldnt she have the dose. They may keep her in during the next course to monitor her.

Its been Cecilia's birthday on Saturday a teenager now. Photo's will come and with Melissa's soccer this weekend her team scored 8:0 yes a win for them. Photos will come too.

And to all those mum's happy mother's day.

small good news

ok with Mel i have some good news. We went to the Doctors yesterday and the splint came off and the results are that it seems ok. without having any xrays there was a possible greenstick or even a sprain but it not as sore as it was at the weekend so the splint worked. She is happy cos she can play soccer at the weekend.

With the hospital visit i managed to work on my x stitch its getting closer to finishing. Yeap its a ufo project.

little cry for Mel

After yesterday game i was so proud of her then we went to our friends place for Lunch and yes you may guessed what happen Mel and I spent the afternoon at the hospital........ She fell out of a tree and yes with a suspected green stick fracture to her left arm. At the moment she has a half cast on we are hoping its just a sprain. Its not hurting her today. The hospital didnt have on-site xrays so it meant going on her pain levels. If it got bad over night i would have taken her to our hospital down here. She seems ok this morning. It will be off to our local GP tomorrow otherwise.

Thanks Julie for letting me know about JA.

Wahoooo go Mel. She played left defence and head butted the ball several times, got it away from the opposite team. In general she done well even the mum's whose sons play for club stated that she done well....... YES i am getting a big head but i am so proud of her. I going to have to get a picture of her playing....

WOW 4 months has flown by and what a year its been. I have spoken to my mum tonight to see how she was.... I think it has finally hit home with her. :( Today was the first day of chemo for her. Fingers cross it works for her. She states at the moment she is fine but we will have to wait a day or two or three before we see how she is going. She is having three different types of chemo.

With work i have been flat chat. hehe nice to bring in the income again but hay i think i need to sleep in this weekend to recover. hehehe

Yesterday came and went with what ever they are doing with my DH claim and its been silent. that means several things.... still looking into it.... we lost or we have been accepted but way things are going trying to look positive they still looking into i want to take the safe bet here. I was told the Dave's boss wont pay for the medical that HE *********(swear word here) made Dave do.... so the cost is now back on us. I am bloody positive his boss doesnt know how to run a damned business... You make an employee go to the Doctor to find out what he/she can or cannot do then you pay for the bill.

let alone that expense we now have an added expense from my darling two older children they were been as children can be little so and so they decided to have a so and so and now we have to replace a broken window. I might see the funny side to that one day.

Side note with uni it seems they still cant answer my questions. I fail one section of the topic but they cant say what will happen? what needs to be done? And after talking to several friends they believe what i think........ that the topic coordinator shouldnt have the job if she cant answer simple question. I do know it states that you must pass both section of the assignment but you do get students bombing out like i did on one part so what the hell happens now? is my biggest question.

On the funny side well i think its funny i received a letter from our government agency to ask if i want to give an estimate income for our next tax year........ they do go off what you estimate for this year then add CPI to it........ i just sat on the bed laughing at what they think as a combine income Dave and i will earn for the coming year. I wish I wish off to work we go :)

On JA i posted what i have done on one of my UFO but what i didnt show was an overall picture. its coming together quite nicely. i will include it in this post. And with the JA monthly challenge the coordinator decided to put all designs that didnt make the challenge for that month up for a second go.... Well this time i wont be voting cos what i choose never make it so this way i wont be disappoint if my choice wasnt the challenge piece of the month..... OR i could be just to damned lazy to vote :) I think i will take the second choice that i am tooooooooo lazy. (or it could mean that i am too busy to decide which one) LOL

Well its time for this little ducky to go to bed.

till next time happy stitching.
