it is still high 30s low 40s(100f- 110F or more) they are now talking Sunday before we drop down to 25C and the stupid thing i saw yesterday in the shops was winter clothing coming out
couldnt they hold off for one more week who in their right mind would buy winter clothing at the moment here.
Some sad news about this heat we have had 37
reported sudden death they wont say its to do with the heat but we all area SA are experience blackouts cause the
electrical grid cannot support the power usage. They did decide to allow children home from school earlier "due to extreme hot weather" Also the animals
aren't coping either Mel came home from school last Friday and told me that the koala that was at their school has gone to koala heaven. Mel school has heaps of gum trees around it and some koala's have taken to living in them. Our water in the lower lakes(Murray River mouth area) is drying up quickly they are talking about huge
ecological damage from this heat. I suppose i cant complain too much
that's what you get when you live in a driest state in the driest continent. get to learn to live with the conditions even though I hate the extreme heat :)
I have been stitching in the cool. I have been working on two projects i will include pics in next posting.
